One of the first things I advise my clients is preparing themselves for the process. It’s really important to go from a home owner mindset to a home seller, something that is definitely really important.
There’s a journey that you’re going to go on over the next four weeks that will include quite a bit of intrusion in your home, a lot of people coming through for those open for inspections. It’s a big thing to be prepared for.
Secondly preparation and presentation of your home is really important: de-clutter, decore – appealing decore -, tend to the lighting; make sure there’s really bright globes in all the rooms, makes it look light airy and much much bigger.
Also the Section 32 document; The Section 32 is a document that needs to be prepared ahead of time, so that it’s signed by you the seller. It enables the agent to take a accept an offer on your property.
